BEERFINGER

Beerfinger is a Chicago area alternative metal project that takes little seriously. Produced entirely by writer J. Rohr, it started back around 2015 with the album Uncle Stumble's Mumble Juice. That was essentially an attempt to hybridize stories with music, essentially giving live literary performances a soundtrack. However, over time it's evolved into its own enterprise.

Nailing down what to call Beerfinger, as far as a genre, is still tricky. At times straight forward punk rock or heavy metal, songs occasionally shift gears into more alternative territory. Essentially Beerfinger leans into whatever fits the intended message of the music, though it's safe to say that will often be dark, surreal, and at times, comedic. 

Currently there are five albums available across a variety of platforms. Spotify for sure has introduced the project to people in Australia, Mexico, and Europe. More is on the way, but production is a slow process since the music is made by one individual. Still, there's plenty to enjoy until the new tunes arrive.
