Meanwhile, I’ve been busy getting ready to move. It’s an interesting experience. Depending on the reason, a move forces someone to consider what things in life they want to carry into the next chapter. Circumstances dictate what a person can take with, and even when it seems like everything can come along, not everything can or should. There’s a lot to leave behind as well as what feel like lost relics.
I keep stumbling on bits of memorabilia. Some I simply forgot I still owned, while others are pieces of the past I didn’t remember until I saw them again. The whole process is inspiring ideas for stories, while savagely getting in the way of other projects. It’s hard to focus with the myriad thoughts and feelings right now, though I’m hoping when things settle down, I’ll get back to being productive.
I’ll have to focus up soon since the folks over at Story Sessions have expressed interest in my nonfiction. Although the material they want is relatively familiar, getting the performance right is the real problem. I haven’t done a proper show in a while and want to put my best foot forward. Granted, the world isn’t opening up quite the way I’d like, but the chance to get back on stage is very tempting. Plus, I always find the nonfiction work helps put things in perspective.
In any regard, enough babbling. I’ll leave you to the Kolchak and be sure to comment what you thought. If the series is unfamiliar to you then hop over to NBC to stream it for free. There’re ads but do like I do and use them as a sign to take a shot. Until next time, cheers!
